Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week in the Christian liturgical calendar. (colour purple). It commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem, where He was greeted by crowds waving palm branches and laying them on the the ground as a symbol of honour and reverence. This event is described in all four gospels, symbolizing the recognition of Jesus as the long-awaited Messiah.
